Dr Fung Chin

Fung is a clinical fellow and supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a charter counsellor psychologist of the British Psychological Society, a certified fourth-level counsellor of the Australian Counselling Association, and a certificated counsellor and supervisor of the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association. In his early years, he studied psychology and philosophy, and graduated from Monash University in Australia. He subsequently obtained a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a Master of Christian Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He completed his PhD in Family Therapy at North Central University in the United States, specializing in child and adolescent development. Fung is a warm and creative counsellor who particularly enjoys working with children and adolescents. His areas of specialization include adolescent issues, family relationships, and addiction.
Fung's areas of research interest are internet addiction, positive psychology, special education needs, and parenting. He is author of Tiger Parents, Bitter Parents, 2011.
